All are invited to help clear the creek of too much trash!
Join Ballona Creek Renaissance and Culver High BCR Club volunteers just downstream from the Centinela Avenue bridge just north of the Marina 1-90 freeway and its on-off ramps. In addition to trash, this site features an artist-designed gateway, native plants and trees, fish and waterbirds along the soft-bottom Ballona Estuary.
Waivers: Volunteers under 18 need waiver forms signed by a parent or guardian (http://ballonacreek.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/cleanupwaiversfor-minors2015.pdf).
Adult and minor waivers also are available at the event.
You may bring: Water in a reusable container along with any personal sun protection, gloves and marked cleanup gear. Otherwise BCR provides what is needed.
