HELP RESTORE NATIVE WILDLIFE HABITAT
9am-noon, Saturday, January 23, 2016,
Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook State Park, 6300 Hetzler Road, Culver City, CA 90232
Join Los Angeles Audubon and BCR for a day of native plant restoration at this breathtaking site!
Volunteers are needed to restore a section of one of the most beautiful parks in urban LA. With your help, wildlife and native plants will once again flourish on this spectacular hillside overlooking Ballona Creek.
Activities: Learning, digging, planting, and removing weeds. We will provide gloves and tools. Attire: Sturdy closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, jacket (It’s breezy up there!). Parking: Due to limited parking, we recommend car-pooling. LA Audubon will provide free parking passes for participants upon your arrival at the very top of Hetzler Road.
Please RSVP to jim.lamm@ballonacreek.org as soon as possible.
What a great way to start the new year! Thank you for your support!
Volunteers can download and print a parking pass for free parking in the parking lot at the top of Hetzler Road during this event. Place it on your dashboard.
Minors (under 18) must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. You can get one at the event or download one from the website here: caaudubonminorwaivers
